The Lac du Bonnet Listening Room is Eastern Manitoba’s up and coming music venue. Featuring a new artist every three weeks, we’ll be taking Lac du Bonnet by storm with some of the best Local, Manitoba, and Canadian artists!
These intimate, oversized house concerts will be held in the St. John’s Heritage Church and Arts Centre. This 112-year-old church lends an authentic charm to your music, with acoustics that will bring a new life to your music.
The Listening Room has been developed by a team of musicians and indie music lovers as a way to promote independent music to the residents and visitors of Lac du Bonnet while helping the fundraising efforts of the Lac du Bonnet & District Historical Society; who have secured the purchase of the former St. John’s Church. Deconsecration of St. John’s Anglican Church took place on December 3, 2018, and is now being operated as a community space that welcomes all.
Our artistic direction team is always on the lookout for amazing talent to bring to Lac du Bonnet. Our goal is to host a concert event approximately every three weeks. We would love to work with local artists looking for a stage and for musicians passing through the area who want to fill their schedule. We are open to presenting music from all genres.
